I make plastic models and I want to ask if I can use plastic paints on the lures???
@FishingItUp11 I’ve messed around making lures and I’ve found the cheapest air brushes to come from Testors. same people who make the model paint. They’re not the best but are definitely the cheapest.

i do mine the same way you do…. what would be the best type of airbrush for painting… cheapest, easiest to use.
would a belt sander work better??
what i do to paint is take the netting stuff you have and use paper clips to hold it to the lure works great

I did download this book. All the processes seem to be sound. I have read it a few times. I haven’t made any yet, it’s summer and I would rather fish than make the lures. Another long cold winter is coming. I have a couple ideas to try. This book is worth the money to me. After I make a few I will let you know how they came out.
