I want to take up fishing as I live close to a river, I know how to fish as I learned when I was younger. My problem is that I have no idea what type of rod to buy. The rules on fishing in this river say no spinning, bait fishing only and no floats.This river has Salmon, Perch, and Pike. I have no idea if that helps but I'll tell you anyway.
