According to the sites that i've read you're gonna get the rod from nina and galen's house, but what if nina died already does that means i can't get the fishing rod anymore?please help,

give galen lots and lots of snelts(? check somewhere else to make sure) and go into his new house at 10 in the morning(? check this too)

I'd like to buy my dad a few nice lures for fishing the inlets and bays around Tampa in Feb. I'm looking for good all-around lures. We normally fish fresh water so I have ideas of what will work, but I would like advice on what works best. Interested in buying a well-rounded set so he can try a variety of different situations.

Plus, if you know of any good spots around Bradenton Beach or Sarasota Bay that would be helpful. We don't have the proper equipment to travel far off-shore, so we tend to stay close to shore.

The above lures have a "place and time" where they would work well. However, most serious Florida anglers would agree that the Jig reins supreme. Jigs have many different configurations and are the most versatile lure for any saltwater fishing. Here are some configurations that are popular- Jig/Soft Plastic, Jig/Live Shrimp, Jig/Live Finger Mullet, Jig/Mud-minnow, Etc.

Needless to say, a good variety of jigs in different sizes, (1/4 OZ - 3/4 OZ), AND colors ( Chartreuse, White, Red, Dark Green), would be the "cheapest" and most "productive" lure you could purchase.

Popping Corks work esp well in conjunction with either a Jig/Live Shrimp or Jig/Jerkshad. Find a 8-10 FT deepwater weededge or large oyster bed and begin slowly working it with a Popping Cork. Fishing most of the Tampa Bay area is a "no-brainer". Where you find current, baitfish schools, oyster beds or Weedbeds you will find Reds, Trout, Snook, and Flounder. If you fish the appropriate tide, with the appropriate light levels you will see some good action. "Generally" LOW tide is going to be the easiest time to find fish because baitfish schools and Gamefish are more "concentrated" at that time.

We met some local fisherman and they took us on a 12 hour deep sea fishing trip off the coast of tobago. We caught 3 large groupers and a ton of flying fish.
